Saturday Session with Bayreuth visitors and a special visitor

OK I was kinda lazy and not much time for writing something. So we all met on Saturday, July 26th at the main train station. Alex Rudolf brought some friends from Bayreuth, Jens Kuefner and Marian (who does skate designs for Powerslide). Also Marc Heuss was with us, filming for his new DVD, which is supposed to be a great one. He also brought a huge backpack (the special visitor), which he uses for his film.

First spot were some nice little curbs (Registratur curbs) where everyone had a nice little session. As there was not a good perspective I took no pictures. After that we went to a spot called “dickes grünes Rail” (thick green rail), which I tried a long time ago with soul and fell (OK it was the first street rail ever, not a good one for trying first). Milla tried for alomst 2 hours a front torque, but it never got through. Gotti tried some switchup, which did not work unfortunatly and Alex did various tricks. Most he got fast, but most time took the BS Savannah. Jens was afraid to skate, cause of his cast on his left hand. After this session I had to leave and the rest wetn to some skatepark, where Basti Hofer took some nice pics.

Slow (not really much) skating day

On Saturday (July 5th) Daniel, Basti and I met at 11 at the main train station. Everyone else was lazy and did not show so we decided to go to the Schrannenhalle curbs, where we were last weekend. The long one of the curbs was taken and as it was Saturday there was much more traffic than last week. We decided all to skate and did a nice little session (Daniel tried BS-Royales switch and non switch and some ngative tricks). Shortly before one, we headed back to the main train station to meet with other only to find out, no one is coming, so we decided to go to Ostbahnhof to some Lowrails where Daniel tried negative Skating like ao negativ makio, negative mistral, negative makio to switch negative makio, and some nice TopSoul 360 TopSoul. After that Batsi said he knows some rail inside the Kunstpark Ost (whih is an area with loads of different clubs inside). We checked out some rails and spots, but nothing was really skateable (there was a very nice kink drop rail, but due to the construction not quite skateable). So we decided to do some “lifestyle” shots. We found a sign which said “Videoüberwacht” (camera proteced) so Basti and Daniel climbed up a cigartette vending machine and we made some shots with Daniels DV-Cam.

After that we found an entrance to a club which was made out of metal and which would give a nice refelction with the flashes, so Basti decided to play model ;)

Rght next to it was a little bar area with some poles so Basti and Daniel started to pole dance ;)

And next to this was a sand box, and Basti decided to do a front flip, and Daniel decided to film, when he hits the sand with his face first ;) , the first shot was a test shot, but it also turned out OK, with a nice mute grab.

Then Dario called and was finally ready to go skate so, we went back to the trains, where Basti had to got to an Open Air festival (which he could not remeber after 12am and waking up at 4 am on the field, all alone, and before that running away from a medic :P ).

Daniel met up with Dario and Mathias and as the skatepark they wanted to got was removed due to some big event they went back to the Schrannenhalle curbs and a curb nearby.

I for myself hatd to go home and do some weekend shopping, which was OK as I developed a bad headache.

Playing round

Well, I took a picture of the baking pan of my oven, cause the baking paper was sticking to it and made a funny structure, played around in photoshop and this came out (not that the font is called Got Heroine?)

Sunday Session with a lot of sun…

On sunday we met at 12 at the main train station, because some guy, who used to skate a while ago wanted to do a report about the Munich Skate scene. Unfortunatly not so much people showed up, I guess it was too hot and the soccer final was on too. So we were around 7 people (Daniel Prell, Matze, Manuel from Stuttgart, 2 of the younger locals, Bati Hofer and Peter, the reporter :) ) and went to some nice curbs, with a metal edge, so although a lot of boarders are there too, it is still good.

So after a little time some nice tricks and slams (gell Matze :) ) went on.

After some time, we wanted to change spots and I asked Daniel, if I could pack, and he said yes. So I packed and the he started to try some zerospin fishys, so no good pic of that, but Basti has a nicer one.

The next spot was a drop-rail in a inner courtyard, but no one was riding it, but Daniel wants do do it soon for his upcoming be-mag interview, so watch out for a droprail before a orange building.

While walking up to the next spot, Matze and Daniel discoverd a rail, where you could jump over one and the grind the other one. Matze nailed it pretty soon but he also stopped pretty soon, cause he always banged his skate against his shin. Daniel tried to jump over the rail after grinding the long one, but there was a little roof over iot and it was to low to jump without hitting it (at least with the hand). While staying there, Dario joined, who lives close by.

Next spot was Theresienhöhe. There is a high curb, where you normally be kicked from pretty soon, but not this time. Manuel aced some pretty sick stuff and he was so fast all the time, sorry no pics there (OK I have one or two on film..). Philipp nearly broke his neck while falling off trying a top pornstar._DSC0919 _DSC0924

Next to this curb was a rail, Matze and Daniel wanted to do it. Matze did Royale and Top Acid, Daniel Top Soul, Fishy and Sweatstance.

After that, Dario discovered, that if you roll down a hughe ledge nearby, you could gap the whole boardwalk. After some tries and some help from Matze shoving him to get more speed, he did it (OK with one foot, but who cares ;) ).

Aftr that I had to go home and the others went to Haar to skate the rail woth the slippy sign :)
